An aspherical lens satisfactorily compensates for distortion and aberration, which produces top quality optical performance throughout the entire zoom range. This advanced design has also resulted in a compact and lightweight lens.

This lens incorporates a double-cam inner focusing zoom system that ensures compact and lightweight lens with excellent imaging capability. As the front of the lens does not rotate, circular polarizing filters and a petal-type hood can easily be used.
