PRESS RELEASE: Luxology's Peebler Interviews Photoshop Creator Knoll
This week's modcast from Luxology President Brad Peebler is an interview with John Knoll, an Academy-award winning motion picture visual effects specialist at Industrial Light & Magic. Knollw, who is one of the original founders of Photoshop, brings unique expertise and innovation in computer graphics to the creation of visual effects.
The interview is a fascinating account of how Knoll leveraged his interests and hobbies into his goal to be a visual effects supervisor at ILM. It also goes into depth about the origins of Photoshop before concluding with some observations on modo, which was initially a hobby project and is now slated for a role in an upcoming ILM film.
