The Foolography Unleashed Dx000 and Unleashed D90 are quite similar to the D200+ module in terms of functionality, but have a significantly lower profile -- important because they're designed to attach to the side, rather than the front of the camera body. The Unleashed Dx000 module is intended for use with the Nikon D3100, D5000 and D7000 DSLRs, while the Unleashed D90 is designed for use with the D90 camera body. It's actually possible to use the Dx000 on a D90, or the D90 module on the Dx000 camera bodies, simply by turning the device upside down, however.
Both devices are functionally identical, and include a Bluetooth 2.0 radio that can communicate with Bluetooth-capable GPS receivers, allowing photos from the attached DSLR to be geotagged as they're captured. If the Bluetooth GPS device loses signal or runs out of power, the Unleashed modules can remember the last position fix, and will continue to tag images with that location. The modules can also be used as a wireless remote release in concert with a Holux M-1200E Bluetooth GPS module running custom firmware.
Pricing before tax is set at 125.21 for either module, significantly less expensive than the existing D200+ module, which is compatible with a wider range of DSLRs including the Nikon D200, D300, D300s, D700, D2X, D2Xs, D2Hs, D3, D3X, D3s and Fujifilm FinePix S5 Pro. (That module also includes an additional 2.5mm jack compatible with Canon's RS-60E cable release.
