Watch the Olympus E-M1 get drenched under a water faucet and keep shooting (VIDEO)

We knew the mirrorless Olympus OM-D E-M1 compact system camera was pretty durable and weather-resistant when we got our hands on it for a First Impressions review last month, but the below video shows how it can survive getting drenched by water. Our friend Chris Gampat at The Phoblographer ran the 16-megapixel Olympus E-M1 under a water faucet for a few seconds as part of a review of the camera, and this flagship OM-D model appears to keep on functioning without a problem.
This isn't the first time Olympus' latest, DSLR-style, Micro Four Thirds, compact system camera has gotten all wet. As part of a review, Ming Thein put the E-M1 in a hot shower for ten minutes and it suffered no ill effects afterwards, despite sitting in up to a centimeter of standing water. Other recent Olympus cameras have also gotten showers, and survived, as these videos show.
All of which proves that Olympus' latest, top-of-the-line, compact system cameras are tough, despite their compact size.
