Last month, Epson shared with the world four new large format printers that promised to bring blacker blacks, easier access and waste less ink than ever before. Now, the SureColor (SC) P6000, P7000, P8000 and P9000 are available for purchase.

Explained in our original coverage, the SC P6000 and P7000 are the smaller of the four new models, with 8-color ink systems and a maximum print width of 24”. The SC P8000 and P9000 come in with a 10-color ink system and almost double the print width at 44”.

In addition to the announcement of the availability of its new SureColor printer lineup, Epson has introduced Epson Legacy Papers, ‘its most advanced line of photographic papers’, set to drop in January 2016.

The new lineup includes: Legacy Platine, Legacy Fibre, Legacy Baryta, and Legacy Etching, each of which have been designed to ‘offer outstanding black density and color fidelity, along with exceptional archival properties required for collectible works of fine art.’
