Sacramento, CA., January 2nd 2011 – Liquid Image Impact Series HD 1080P Video CameraMX Goggle announced.

The Liquid Image Impact Series HD 1080P MX goggle will be announced and demonstrated at the CES Unveiled Event January 4th, 2011 and at the CES show in Las Vegas January 6th-10th, 2011 in LVCC Booth# 30538, South Hall Upper Level.

The Off-road goggle contains a 136 degree (full field of view) wide angle lens with Line of Sight™ video capture to record all the action while riding motocross, ATV, or downhill biking. The hands free unit has a 12.0 MP interpolated (4000 x 3000) camera mode and a video mode that records HD 1080P video (1920×1080) at a rate up to 30 frames per second with audio and an additional High Action mode that features HD 720P video (1280x720) at 60 frames per second. The Impact Series HD1080P can hold a Micro SD/SDHC Card up to 32 GB. Product includes a 4GB Micro SDHC card. With the use of a micro SD/SDHC card, the camera is capable of recording thousands of photos or hours of HD video. Files may be downloaded to a computer through the High Speed USB cable provided, or through a Micro SD/SDHC card.

The Impact Series HD 1080P Video Camera MX Goggle is easy to operate. There is a button for On/Off/Mode and another button for the shutter. To record a photo or a video, simply turn on the camera, choose the mode, then press the shutter button. LED lights inside the goggle indicate the mode to the user. Large side buttons along the right side of the frame allow for greater dexterity while wearing gloves.

This new camera model is part of the Liquid Image Xtreme Sport Cams (XSC) Brand Line which revolutionizes wearable cameras. Other sport cameras require mounting devices and record a view that is not in line with user’s field of view. Liquid Image’s innovation of True POV™ is simplifying the way athletes capture video and share their point of view with the world.

The Camera operates on a rechargeable Lithium Battery. Estimated battery performance is 1.5-2 hours of HD video. Extra rechargeable batteries will be sold as accessories to increase recording time. Additional Micro SDHC cards sold separately.

The Impact Series HD1080P Video Camera MX Goggle model 367 comes in Black or Red with grey hydro graphics. This model is estimated to ship Oct 2011 and has an estimated US price of $400.
