Epson America has today announced its new Stylus Photo RX620, an all-in-one device featuring a 6-color dye-based photo printer.

The Stylus Photo RX620, planned to retail for $299, features 5760 x 1440 dpi printing with a 3 picoliter droplet size, and 2400 x 4800 dpi scanning with a 35mm film-strip adapter (offering the ability to scan your 35mm slide and negatives). Print speed is said to be 78 seconds for an 8" x 10" photo, and the device offers borderless printing at 4" x 6", 5" x 7" and 8" x 10" sizes. Connectivity is via USB 2.0 High Speed.
