Perhaps the most interesting is the upcoming Tokina AT-X 16.5-135mm f/3.5-5.6 DX zoom lens, slated for initial availability in Canon- and Nikon- mount variants. Offering a more generous wide angle than most competing models, the Tokina 16.5-135 will equate to roughly a 27-219mm equivalent lens for Canon 1.6x crop DSLRs, while on Nikon's 1.5x crop models it'll work out to around a 25-206mm equivalent range. Capable of focusing down to around 18 inches, this lens should be shipping early next year.
For Nikon users, Tokina is also showing a variant of its existing AT-X 124 AF PRO DX 12-24mm f/4 lens with a built-in AF motor - a first for the company's Nikon-mount line. This will apparently be changing though, as there are plans to roll out in-lens AF motors for the rest of Tokina's Nikon-mount products in the future.
