SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwire - November 9, 2009) - Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ: ZRAN) announced that Gary Shapiro, President and CEO of the Consumer Electronics Association (CEA), the U.S. trade association representing some 2,200 consumer electronics companies, will speak to China's Top CE manufacturers at Zoran's annual customer conference at the Futian Shangri-La Shenzhen on Nov 18, 2009.
Zoran regularly hosts top CE manufacturers at its annual by-invitation customer seminar to discuss the evolving technologies that drive growth of the global CE markets. Invited attendees will view demonstrations of the latest DTV, set-top box, DVD, digital camera and multifunction printer platforms and technologies developed by Zoran.
Mr. Shapiro, an active leader in the development, launch and marketing of HDTV who testified before the U.S. Congress more than 20 times on HDTV and other technology and business issues, is uniquely qualified to deliver a perspective on the state of the CE industry.
