Photokina Special: The Angels of Cologne

Our Thursday show report will be posted later tonight, but meanwhile here's something to enjoy....
Arriving in Cologne a few days ago, we took a walk in the Melaten cemetery across the street. The large Friedhof was populated, to our surprise, by a flock of wild parrots that screeched overhead as they flew from one tree to another.
But what really caught our attention was the stonework. Many of the large headstones were decorated with monumental angels. We took a few snapshots of the Angels of Cologne who welcomed us and share them here.
