Argus Introduces 5-Mp DC-3810 Under $500, Four Pocket Digicams

Argus unveiled an inexpensive five-megapixel digicam with 3x optical zoom and four smaller digicams ranging from a $180 two-megapixel pocketable to a $100 necklace digicam.

LAS VEGAS -- Argus Camera introduced the first five-megapixel digicam under $500 here today at PMA 2003, along with four pocket-sized digicams ranging in price from $99.95 to $176.99.

The five-megapixel DC-3810 features 3x optical zoom, multi-function�flash, a self-timer,�1.8-inch color LCD screen, auto-focus, 12-frame VGA out, TV out, USB interface and a 32MB CompactFlash card. List price is $499.95.

The four pocket-sized products include the SL-2800, SL-2820, USB-1800 and USB-1810.

The SL-2800 and SL-2820 are slim, two-megapixel digicams. The $176.99 SL-2800 offers 16MB flash memory, a flash and a rechargeable lithium battery. The $161.99 SL-2820 has a 1.6 inch TFT screen, 2MB internal flash memory and a Secure Digital card slot (card not included).

The $99.95 USB-1800 is a 4-in-1 digicam: a digital still camera, a PC cam, a video camera and an internal USB port. With 16MB internal memory, the compact USB-1800 can also be used as a mass storage device.

Argus unveiled an inexpensive five-megapixel digicam with 3x optical zoom and four smaller digicams ranging from a $180 two-megapixel pocketable to a $100 necklace digicam.

LAS VEGAS -- Argus Camera introduced the first five-megapixel digicam under $500 here today at PMA 2003, along with four pocket-sized digicams ranging in price from $99.95 to $176.99.

The five-megapixel DC-3810 features 3x optical zoom, multi-function�flash, a self-timer,�1.8-inch color LCD screen, auto-focus, 12-frame VGA out, TV out, USB interface and a 32MB CompactFlash card. List price is $499.95.

The four pocket-sized products include the SL-2800, SL-2820, USB-1800 and USB-1810.
