PRESS RELEASE: Delkin Devices Announces 51 New Products At The Largest Photo Show In The United States
Delkin Devices, Inc., based in Poway, California, has been providing "Everything but the Camera" since 1986. From Archival Gold Media to Pop-Up Shades, Delkin provides products with premium quality, innovative designs and an ongoing dedication to superior customer service. Delkin announces 51 news products at the PMA (Photo Marketing Association Show) in Orlando starting February 26th.
"We have something for everyone," says CEO and President Martin Wood. "Everything from new batteries and scratch resistant recordable media to MP3 players and instructional DVD's, we are dedicated to providing our customers with solutions to their digital photography needs."
New Products Launching at PMA are two new additions to the Archival Gold Line, Archival Gold CD-R's and DVD-R's with Scratch Armor and Inkjet DVD-R's. Scratch Armor is a clear protective coating that resists scratches, scuffs, dirt, chemicals, and fingerprints, making it the best way to protect your precious memories, music, and important documents. Combined with Archival Gold's established reliability, Archival Gold with Scratch Armor improves the quality and lifespan of your recordable media dramatically. Scratch Armor comes in both CD-R and DVD-R formats. Archival Gold inkjet DVD-R's arrive after the great success of Archival Gold inkjet CD-R's. With larger capacity than CD-R's, the Archival Gold inkjet DVD-R's let you store more images in one location. The innovative materials and manufacturing methods used to produce Archival Gold DVD-R's make them among the most reliable storage media available, and with the addition of an inkjet surface you can now customize your own DVD artwork. Archival Gold products come packaged in groups of 10, 16, 25, and 100.
Another product launching at PMA is the Revel and SD card combo, an MP3 player with SD slot that allows you to easily customize the amount of storage space you require. With a sleek black modern exterior and a portable square shaped body that fits into your pocket, the Revel gives you ultimate style and portability. It can hold over 600 songs on one SD card, and can run for hours before the single AAA battery needs to be replaced. The Revel comes in 256MB SD, 512MB SD, 1GB SD, and 2GB SD.
Digital Camera Instructional DVD's and Digital Camera Cheat Sheets are another new addition to Delkin. These instructional sheets and videos help you master your digital camera in about an hour. Topics include, the Nikon D200 and D50 and the Canon 20D and Rebel XT. The videos come bundled with over one hundred dollars worth of coupons for digital photography gear.
Pop-Up Shades have been a huge success for Delkin this year. Pop-Up Shades are LCD screen protective covers, which double as glare guards. These sturdy, lightweight covers are easily installed (and removed), protect a digital camera's expensive LCD screen, and block shade for easy display viewing in bright sunlight. Newly released Pop-Up Shades include the Black Universal Pop-Up Shades (fitting cameras with 1.6", 1.8", 2.0", and 2.5" LCD screens), Canon 5D Standard and 5D Professional Pop-Up Shades, and the Konica Minolta 5D Standard and 5D Professional Pop-Up Shades. Universal shades attach to the camera using a no residue adhesive that will not damage the camera. An optically clear plastic protects your camera's screen, and the simple pop-up design allows for easy opening to block the glare. The two-part design enables easy removal of the shade while keeping the clear plastic in place for protection. The Standard Pop-Up Shade is our most popular model, and simply snaps onto the back of the most popular models of Digital SLR cameras. This design features optically clear plastic that protects your camera's screen, and a hard impact plastic design. Finally, the Pop-Up Shade Professional is designed to attach to your camera using the existing eye piece and slots around your display. It easily snaps on and off, and features the same optically clear plastic to protect your camera's screen.
New Delkin batteries are also being released at the show, including the DD/ENEL-3e and the DD/ENEL-7. The DD/ENEL-3e is 100% compatible with the new Nikon D200, and also works with the same cameras as the DD/ENEL3. The DD/ENEL-7 is compatible with the Nikon Coolpix 8400 & the Coolpix 8800. Another addition to the battery family is the Delkin Battery Tester and the Delkin Battery Tester plus Carrying Case. The battery tester lets you check how much power remains in your batteries, and the carrying case gives you a place to neatly store them. The Delkin Battery Tester works with AA, AAA, 9V, CR-V3, and 2CR5 batteries, and the 2-in-1 Delkin Battery Tester plus Carrying Case works with AA and AAA batteries.
SD Xtra (512MB, 1GB, and 2GB) memory cards double as an SD card and USB 2.0 Flash Drive, and will also be released at PMA 2006. Other memory products that Delkin is releasing at the show include USB 2.0 Pocketflash 2GB, microSD w/ adapter (64 MB, 128MB, and 256MB), SD Pro 2GB, CompactFlash Pro 8GB and an xD to CF Adapter.
Delkin Devices and its products have become worldwide industry leaders in both OEM and consumer markets. The company's eFilm brand of memory cards is a leading choice among professional photographers and others passionate about digital photography. Delkin Devices' innovative digital photography products are available worldwide through a network of independent camera stores, and online at www.delkin.com .
