The latest addition to Fujifilm’s award-winning range of big zoom ‘bridge’ cameras, the FinePix HS10 digital camera offers an unprecedented feature set that combines a powerful Fujinon 30x (24-720mm equivalent) manual optical zoom lens with sophisticated photographic controls, advanced functionality and D-SLR-like handling in a single compact, affordable camera. The HS10 is built for speed, with a BSI-CMOS sensor, and a body design carefully crafted to make accessing controls fast and simple, so you won’t miss a shot. In addition to the Fujinon 30x Wide-Telephoto zoom lens, Triple Image Stabilization and the four new unique shooting modes, the FinePix HS10 also features a full HD movie mode (1080p) with stereo sound, combined RAW/JPEG shooting, and an Electronic Viewfinder that automatically switches the picture between the EVF and the LCD screen when the eye is withdrawn. The FinePix HS10 will be available in April 2010 at a retail price of $499.95.
The Fujifilm FinePix F80EXR digital camera is a sleek, compact digital camera that combines intuitive use with Fujifilm’s award winning EXR technology and the most advanced features available in a point-and-shoot digital camera. Improving on that award winning technology for 2010, this new EXR sensor provides the F80EXR with an EXR AUTO feature with a selectable sensor mode, highly acclaimed for its low light shooting abilities. Among its many features, the FinePix F80EXR has an impressive Fujinon 10x (27mm-270mm equivalent) Wide-Angle optical zoom lens, a 12-MegaPixel Super CCD EXR sensor, a large, 3.0” High-Contrast LCD, HD Movie Capture and Face Recognition that allows users to register up to eight (8) faces, along with names, birthdays and categories. And the F80EXR will prioritize focus and exposure, using AF and AE settings, right on the faces of those special people. Users can also use Image Search to view images of a registered person. In addition, this camera has a Pet Detection feature that automatically detects either a dog’s or a cat’s face, optimizes AF and AE, and can even activate the Auto Shutter feature when the pet faces the camera, reducing missed shots. Encased in a beautifully sculpted metal shell with a double coated lacquer finish and measuring only 22.9 mm thin*, the FinePix F80EXR will be available in April 2010 at a retail price of $299.95.
