Olympus Europe has today announced the new Camedia C-2 digital camera, the Digital Photography Review website reports. To be known as the Brio D-230 in North America, the camera features a 2.14 megapixel CCD image sensor and a compact design similar to past Brio cameras. Other features include SmartMedia storage, a fixed focal length lens equivalent to 36mm on a 35mm camera, resolutions to 1600 x 1200 pixels, and QuickTime movie capability.
