Latest beta of the Macintosh imaging tool has quite a few changes...
Juri Munkki, author of Cameraid, a Macintosh program for acquiring, viewing, renaming and transforming your digital camera images, as well as creating index web pages and thumbnails, has been in touch to let us know that a new beta version of the program is now available. Cameraid v1.2b3 includes an updated manual, significant user interface changes, faster browsing of large JPEG images at reduced sizes and batch processor enhancements.
Barring any significant bugs cropping up, the final release of Cameraid v1.2 should be just before Christmas, Juri tells us. The program is distributed as shareware, with a $15 license fee payable through the Kagi order processing system.
UPDATED 2001-12-21 15:39ET: Cameraid v1.2 has now been officially released. According to the press release, the final release version is identical to v1.2b3, so if you've already installed that version you don't need to upgrade...
