FinePix F601: First samples online!

Our friends in Japan get the scoop with numerous sample-images from Fuji's just-announced 4800/6800 successor...
The Japanese Miscall website have posted the first photos we've seen from a development-level model of the just-announced Fuji FinePix F601 Zoom digital camera. The site is extremely slow, but if you're considering the F601 as a future purchase then the images are well worth waiting for.
Split over two pages, many of the images are captioned in English, however there are several things we feel worth noting:
Page 1 - Ignore the first 5 images (PICT0273.JPG to PICT0288.JPG), which are samples from the Minolta DiMAGE X
- DSCF0017.JPG is taken in Portrait mode
- DSCF0071.JPG to DSCF0082.JPG are a resolution/compression series
- DSCF0103.JPG and DSCF0106.JPG show hard/soft sharpening in 3 megapixel Fine mode
- DSCF0115.JPG and DSCF0117.JPG show optical zoom and digital zoom, and DSCF0143.JPG to DSCF0149.JPG show wide, optical and digital zoom.
- DSCF0161.JPG to DSCF0172.JPG are an ISO series showing ISO 160, 200, 400 and the 1280x960-only ISO 800 and 1600 settings.
Page 2 - DSCF0198.JPG, DSCF0199.JPG, DSCF0214.JPG and DSCF0217.JPG compare auto and daylight white balance in different conditions
- DSCF0223.JPG to DSCF0240.JPG are another ISO series showing ISO 400, 800 and 1600
- DSCF0275.JPG to DSCF0288.JPG are a white balance series showing Auto, Fine, Shade, Daylight Fluorescent, Cool White Fluorescent, Warm White Fluorescent and Incandescent white balance.
