Panasonic DMC-LC5 coming to the USA! (UPDATED)

4 megapixel collaboration with Leica should see US shores this spring...
Regular readers may remember the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC5 digital camera which we introduced you to upon its Japanese announcement last September. Our friends at the LetsGoDigital.nl website have now posted a news item suggesting that Panasonic will be present at PMA to introduce a new line of digital cameras. The DMC-LC5 will apparently be one of these, and should be available this spring at a price of $899.95.

UPDATED 2002-02-07 17:39ET: Dave Kamanski over at the Digital Eye website dropped us a note to remind us that he mentioned the upcoming Lumix cameras back at CES.
