Chaney Updates Profile Prism and Qimage Pro

Mike Chaney is at it again, improving ICC profile accuracy in two popular programs.
Mike Chaney at Digital Domain Inc. has released Profile Prism v2.13 with new gamut mapping formulas that result in greater profile accuracy, especially in shadows and very dark colors.
"Although the visible difference is slight over most of the brightness range, you may notice that v2.13 opens up shadows and renders more accurate color in dark/shadow areas of photos," Chaney said. "This version also generates all profiles about 20 percent faster and fixes a memory problem that caused prior versions to crash if numerous profiles were generated in one session without exiting."
Chaney also released a new version of Qimage Pro offering more accurate ICC profiling.
