Nikon D100 preview online!

Phil Askey posts a brief intro to Nikon's upcoming digital SLR...
Some of the hottest buzz at the show this year surrounds Nikon's D100 semi-pro digital SLR. We're eagerly waiting to bring you full details on this exciting product, but Nikon US has told us that the D100 is still at a very early stage of development, meaning that features and menus are still changing on a less-than-weekly basis. Accordingly, they have asked that we not list menu contents or discuss specific features in detail. We do hope to have a story with general information posted later in the week, but at this point aren't able to discuss very much about the camera other than what's been discloseds in the Nikon press release.
In the meantime though, Nikon UK has apparently adopted a less restrictive stance regarding journalistic access to the camera, so our friend Phil Askey of DPReview has posted a first-look of the D100, including examples of its menu screens in their current state of development. Check it out - this is going to be a hot product!
