Here's another neat little camera from Canon, the "little brother" of the A40 mentioned in another news item. The A30 has only a 1.3 megapixel CCD in it, but that's plenty if you only rarely print 8x10 enlargements. Its other features are almost identical to those of the A40 (apart from the lack of audio recording with its movies), and its color & image quality are likewise first-rate.
If you don't need more than 5x7 prints on a regular basis, but aren't willing to settle for a stripped-down camera with poor image quality, the A30 would be a great choice. Another nice little camera, proof positive that "resolution isn't everything." Check it out!
