Leading high-end camera manufacturer offers ACDSee

Victoria, British Columbia - April 18, 2002 - ACD Systems International Inc. (TSE:ASA), the digital imaging company, today announced that ACDSee™ will be bundled with a digital camera from Leica Camera AG, of Germany. Leica's new Digilux 1 is a compact digital camera for reportage photography. Based on the company's reputation for producing exceptionally high-quality state-of-the-art photographic technology, Leica's cameras are prized among photographers, one of ACD System's key target markets.

The agreement includes the bundling of Leica's Digilux 1 model with ACDSee™ 3.1 in English, French, Italian, Portugese, German, Japanese, Spanish, Korean, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch and Swedish, as well as ACDSee 1.6 for Mac in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Swedish, Dutch and Japanese.
