Dave examines Canon's PowerShot S300 replacement...
Canon's diminutive "Digital ELPH" cameras have been a big hit with consumers, thanks to their compact size, rugged all-metal body design, and excellent image quality. The latest in the line is the new PowerShot S330, a replacement and minor upgrade to last year's S300 model.
The new model features the same specs (2 megapixels, a 3x zoom lens - the identical lens in fact), but a lot of minor enhancements and upgrades, including an improved user interface, variable ISO (100-400), long exposure times to 15 seconds, and even a little speaker so you can hear the audio from your movies and voice notes. Coupled with the typically excellent "Canon color" and very good lens performance, this one looks like another real winner. (Oh - and of course, the price is hundreds of dollars lower than what the S300 was introduced at last year.) Check it out!
