Uwe and Bettina Steinmueller offer help and advice getting 'fine art' results from your digital camera...
Our friends over at the Digital Outback Photo website have launched a pretty large project aimed at helping readers use their digital cameras to create 'fine art' photos. Covering the entire process from capture through editing and presentation, the "Digital Outback Fine Art Photography Handbook" is aimed at users of SLR digital cameras. It looks to be a vast undertaking, and is a work in progress - they're actively soliciting corrections and suggestions.
The book is being released as a shareware endeavour, with an opportunity for readers to contribute a $19.95 annual subscription fee which supports the work that Uwe and Bettina are putting in. As an incentive, registered readers will also apparently be provided with extra information and material.
We'd like to offer our best wishes to Digital Outback Photo on their new project!
