September 11th - A Time For Reflection By

As readers are surely aware, today marks the first anniversary of the terrorist attacks on the United States that took place on September 11th, 2001. Along with many of you, we would like to take a moment to reflect on the events of that tragic day. We have all learned a lot about ourselves over the last year, and about how communities can draw together to overcome challenges that at first seem insurmountable.
Last September, we joined along with charitable organizations, other members of the media and many more in asking our readers to donate their time, energy and money to helping the relief efforts. Around the world people did just this, on a scale for which we can think of few precedents. Perhaps most important of all, we have proven in the last 12 months that whilst terrorists strive to harm us, they only make us - and our resolve to protect our basic freedoms - even stronger.
We would like to thank every one of our readers for the gestures and contributions you have all made, big and small, that have helped carry the world through the events of September 11th. We'd also like to remember those lost, and those who lost someone close to them.
Wherever in the world you are, we would like to ask of you to please take a moment today to reflect and remember in your own way. Most importantly, from all of us at the Imaging Resource to all of you, however you should choose to commemorate this important occasion, be safe and be strong on this day of remembrance.
