IR Newsletter Editor Mike Pasini has taken a look at a piece of software that its creator says is designed to help users scan images "without requiring extensive training in reproduction techniques".
SilverFast Ai 6, from German software company LaserSoft Imaging, has a wide range of features to help you get the best out of your scans - including defect removal, color correction and restoration, grain and noise removal, color cast removal, and the ability to scan negatives and convert them to positives.
