Fuji's been carving out a niche for themselves in the low-cost camera market.

Their specialty has become low-cost camera that aren't low on features or image quality, and the Fuji FinePix 2650 is one of the latest in that lineup. A follow-on to the enormously successful 2600 model, the 2650 has very similar features and functions, but is built around the new xD-Picture card format, rather than SmartMedia. The 2650 is designed to sell at very aggressive prices, offering a two megapixel CCD and a 3x zoom lens for *very* cheap.

Despite the low cost (and slightly cheap-feeling plastic body) though, the 2650 snaps excellent pictures with very nice color. Not fantastically flexible, but it'll snap good-looking photos under typical outdoor shooting conditions with the best of them. A great choice for novices or others looking for a simple camera at a good price, that takes nice photos. Check it out!
