New image recovery software program allows users of digital cameras, PDA, etc., to retrieve digital data once thought lost
Fairfield, CT (February 14, 2003) - Photographic Research Organization, Inc. (PRO), a cooperative owned by independent specialty retailers, announces today that they are the exclusive distributor to the photo industry of MediaRECOVER Image Recovery Software for Windows from MediaRECOVER, Inc. No matter if images, videos, or audio files have been deleted or if the digital media has been formatted or pulled out during a write process, this software program reconstructs the corresponding data automatically.
MediaRECOVER is a digital image, data recovery program for recovery of "lost" files on removable media used in digital cameras, PDA's, etc. Common media types supported by the software program are: SmartMedia, CompactFlash, Memory Stick, MicroDrive, Flash Card, Multimedia Card, Secure Digital Card, Zip Disks and also hard drives. If a user has accidentally deleted or formatted their media, this program can recover that data, even if the media has become corrupted. The program does not write to the media, but stores the recovered files in a user-defined location.
