Fujifilm Europe has today announced a new digital camera at the CeBIT trade show in Hannover, Germany.
Full specifications and product image are not yet available at the time of this writing, however we do know that the FinePix A310 will be a replacement for the A303, and will be announced simultaneously in the UK, Germany and Canada. We've been told the camera will be coming to the USA as well, however pricing and availability have not yet been decided.
The main difference between the FinePix A303 and the new FinePix A310 will be the use of a 3.1 megapixel SuperCCD HR image sensor (2816 x 2120 pixels interpolated max. resolution), marking the first time that Fuji has placed its latest-generation SuperCCD technology into an A-series camera. We have been told that the A310 will have the same form factor as the A303, which featured a 3x optical zoom lens, and hence we presume the same will be true of the A310.
Once we have fuller specifications and product images, you'll find this information on our news page.
