Nikon Europe: CP3100 firmware update

Nikon Europe has posted a firmware update for its Coolpix 3100 digital camera.
Available for download from the support site, firmware v1.2 corrects a problem whereby the camera shows low battery level on a near fully-charged battery. No update is available on the US website, and we don't currently know if US cameras are affected by the problem.
As always, be sure to follow the installation instructions to the letter, and don't attempt to install the firmware if your camera wasn't sold in Europe...
