Quiet Price Change on Sony F828

It must be Christmas (soon), if Sony's $200 price drop is any indication.
Without any fanfare, Sony has dropped the manufacturer's suggested retail price of its Cyber-shot DSC-F828 from $1,200 to $999.95. PriceGrabber shows one listing as low as $919 for the 8-megapixel digicam.
The SonyStyle USA site lists the camera, bundled with 100 free 4x6 ImageStation prints, for $999.95.
In his recent review, Imaging Resource publisher Dave Etchells concluded, "Loads of resolution, respectable image noise levels, a very fast shutter response, and new color technology that seems to convey some very real advantages. All in all, a very impressive offering."
And now at a new, low price, comparable to the Canon EOS 300D Digital Rebel.
