PRESS RELEASE: FixerLabs Releases TrueBlur Plug-in
Following the huge success of FocusFixer, the plug-in that corrects focus blur, FixerLabs have turned their skills to the reverse problem. Previously Photoshop users have had to rely on Gaussian blur when trying to integrate blur back into images. TrueBlur now produces more realistic results than has previously been possible due to the unique LensFIT technology.
TrueBlur, designed by the award winning team of imaging scientists at FixerLabs, uses EXIF information (where present) to generate an accurate model of the lens optics. Users can give the selection the final touch by adding 'noise' to ensure it blends seamlessly into the final image.
Benefits include:
Uses an accurate model of optical blur rather than Gaussian blur
LensFIT technology gives an even more accurate model of camera lens
Ability to add 'noise' to the final selection to blend seamlessly with original image
Integrates with your Adobe Photoshop workflow as a plug-in filter
Works on both 8 and16 bit images
 PC and MAC compatibility
At only $27 (+ vat in EU) TrueBlur is superb value for money. It can either be bought as a single plug-in or as part of the FixerBundle, which also includes FocusFixer, NoiseFixer and ShadowFixer for just $80 (+ vat in EU), a saving of $20 on the combined individual values
Aimed at professional photographers TrueBlur will also have applications for desk-top publishing, graphic and web designers as well as enthusiastic amateur photographers.
TrueBlur Version 1.0 is a plug-in for Adobe's Photoshop image editing software, but like all the plug-ins produced by FixerLabs will work in Adobe's consumer Photoshop Elements. Available now for both PC and Mac OS X platforms.
TrueBlur is available to purchase exclusively by download for only $27.00 (+VAT in EU).
