Nikon Drops Coolpix 5400 Price, Offers Spring Rebates

Nikon has dropped the price for the Coolpix 5400 to $599.99 while offering rebates of $500 on the D1x dSLR, $50 on the Coolpix 4300 and $150 on the Coolpix 5700.
The Spring Special Offers include:
- A new $599.99 list price for the 5.1-Mp, 4x zoom Coolpix 5400
- A $500 mail-in rebate through April 30 on the D1x SLR with free Nikon Capture 4 software ($149)
- A $50 rebate through June 30 on the $399.99 4-Mp, 3x zoom Coolpix 4300
- A $150 rebate through June 30 on the $899.99 5-Mp, 8x zoom Coolpix 5700
