We received an email today from the folks at ePorter Inc., announcing a new case that aims to keep your flash cards close at hand.
If you've purchased several flash cards for your digital camera, you're probably familiar with the problem - where do you store them when you're out in the field? Unless you keep your camera in a case that has a storage pocket for accessories, flash cards can be easily lost (particular when they tend to be so small these days).
The mPorter, iPorter, and iPorter xSD are a series of small cases (with cute designs reminiscent of PDAs and digital cameras) that attach to one thing you're likely to have with you anyway - your key chain. Each case stores a number of SmartMedia, Memory Stick, Memory Stick Duo, Secure Digital, xD-Picture Card or MultiMediaCard flash cards (the type of cards accepted varies depending on the model). The cases are made of anti-static popyproylene, and hold three cards in clips that allow you to flip through them to find the right card).
Suggested retail pricing is $7.95 (the cases cost $9.95 for a pair through ePorter's website), and bulk discounts / customisation are available on orders over 500 units. For more details, visit the ePorter website.
UPDATED 2005-02-10 10:18ET: Corrected a pricing error.
