The Adobe Camera Raw plug-in and DNG Converter products were recently upgraded to offer support for the Canon EOS 20D, Canon PowerShot S70, Canon PowerShot G6, Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II, Konica Minolta DiMAGE A200 and Konica Minolta MAXXUM 7D cameras. On the Adobe booth, the company demonstrated the 'Elements' versions of its Photoshop and Premiere applications - Photoshop Elements being a photo editor that also offers the ability to organise and share your images, while Premiere Elements is aimed at editing videos and burning DVDs of the resulting movies. Adobe targets the 'Elements' versions at consumers, with competitive pricing and a feature-set tweaked to offer the tools consumers need, without the complexity of the full-blown professional versions of the products.
Regular demonstrations on the booth gave attendees the chance to see for themselves just what can be achieved with the applications, as well as offering tips on how to get the most from the tools they offer.
