ACD sweepstakes: win digicams and more

ACD Systems Ltd. are currently running a sweepstakes in which seven Pentax digital cameras, six Wacom graphics tablets, and a raft of software are to be given away, we hear from regular correspondent Peter Burian.
ACD's "$10,000 Great Gear Giveaway) - rather conservatively named, given that apparently some US$11,400 of prizes are on offer - runs through April 15th. Anyone purchasing products through ACD's website from March 1, 2005 to April 15, 2005 is automatically entered into the contest. If you're not making a purchase, you can still enter by: - Downloading and activating a 30-day trial of ACDSee v. 7.0 or ACDSee v. 7.0 PowerPack,
- Signing up to receive the ACDSee Digital Imaging News or ACD Special Offer Bulletin,
- Sending your name, address, age and daytime telephone number on a piece of paper to ACD Systems Ltd.'s $10,000 Great Gear Giveaway, P.O. Box 36, Saanichton, British Columbia, Canada V8M 2C3, for receipt by April 12th.
A random drawing will be held on April 25th, and curiously, winners will first have to answer a "time-limited, mathematical skill-testing question". The contest is open to US and Canadian residents, excluding Quebec. Prizes include: - One Pentax *ist DS
