Widely Respected Intel Executive to Drive Kodak's Online and Mobile Services Business

ROCHESTER, N.Y., May 23 -- Eastman Kodak Company announced that Sandra Morris has been hired as vice president and general manager, Digital Imaging Services Group, within the company's Digital & Film Imaging Systems business unit. She will report to Bernard Masson, president of D&FIS and a senior vice president of the company, effective today.

As general manager of Digital Imaging Services, Morris will be responsible for driving growth of the KODAK EASYSHARE Gallery (formerly Ofoto), the company's online photo sharing and printing service, as well as driving KODAK Mobile Service, its mobile phone-centric picture sharing offering. The KODAK EASYSHARE Gallery is the number one on-line service in the market with 20 million members and over 1 billion images stored.

Morris, 50, was formerly a senior executive at Intel Corporation and is widely respected for her strong strategic vision and operating skills. During her 17 years with the company, she contributed to Intel's multimedia and communications products, as well as online-related marketing and industry activities. Her management expertise spans software and Internet services technology development, marketing, communications, strategic planning, supply chain operations, and business development.

Most recently, Morris was corporate vice president and general manager of business operations for the Mobility Group (formerly for the Intel Communications Group). Prior to that, she was co-chief information officer of Intel. As co-CIO, Sandra developed and led the vision to revamp many of Intel's business processes and business systems to enable a 100- percent e-Corporation, improving how Intel's employees, customers and suppliers work. This resulted in significant cost savings and improved business-planning processes worldwide. In recognition of her accomplishments and leadership, Morris was promoted to vice president of Intel in January 1999, and was appointed a corporate vice president in January 2000.

Morris' technology career began as a researcher and multimedia pioneer, connecting senior scientists at RCA's David Sarnoff Research Center with uses of multimedia and digital video applications for families, schools and business. When this group of researchers and the multimedia technology was acquired by Intel Corporation, she moved to leading product development and standards efforts in PC-based video conferencing, telephony products and Internet communications applications. Morris then spent four years in Intel's brand marketing organization, where she set a vision for one of the largest and most successful international business-to-business e-commerce sites. She also led intel.com through many changes as a lead consumer-branding vehicle for the company.

A native of Harrisburg, Pa., Morris holds an M.S. in Human Resources & Life Span Development, and a B.S. in Education from the University of Delaware. She currently lives with her family in Portland, Ore., and will relocate to the San Francisco area.
