Our friends at the Digital Photography Review website are reporting that Mamiya's 22 megapixel ZD digital SLR is now shipping in the UK.
DPReview have posted a press release from the British distributor for Mamiya, noting the camera's availability in that market priced at £7000 before tax (roughly equivalent to US$12,200, ignoring exchange rate fluctuations, taxes and duties).
The Mamiya ZD interchangeable-lens digital SLR features a 48 x 36mm RGB CCD image sensor, exactly twice the size of a 35mm frame. The ZD SLR is styled similarly to the Mamiya 645 AF medium format camera. Other features include a continuous shooting speed of 1.2 frames per second for 10 frames, a user-replaceable low-pass filter, fixed IR cut filter, RAW and JPEG file formats, Adobe RGB and sRGB color spaces, ISO sensitivity from 50 - 400, a 1.8" LCD display, IEEE 1394 and NTSC / PAL video connectivity, and both AC / Lithium Ion battery power sources.
