For an entry-level camera in its price range, the Kodak EasyShare C663 offers many top-notch features you'd find on higher-end models.

These include a 6-megapixel imaging sensor, a 3x optical Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon lens, a 2.5-inch LCD, a VGA movie mode at 24fps and Kodak Perfect Touch, a proprietary technology previously only offered on Kodak's printers, kiosks, or via lab processing for digital images and film. Another welcome addition to the C663 is the presence of manual control in the P/M setting which allows for more creativity and a helpful live histogram for judging exposure.

Though there are a few trade-offs including below average resolution on the LCD, some noise in higher ISOs and an overall sluggishness the camera, the C663 is an excellent value, particularly when paired with Kodak's latest Printer Dock which should make printing 4x6s with this camera a blast.
