New features include a few that are slated for the next release of the Windows version (in a few days).
For the last week, we've been playing with a sneak preview of Phanfare's first non-beta release of Phanfare Photo for OS X, the software that organizes your images for display on the Phanfare site.
Among the new features of this attractively designed product are albums that can be divided into sections, transparent drop-down navigation menus for online albums, auto image rotation (that really works), iPhoto imports of rolls and albums and improved performance.
That last might seem standard but there's nothing standard about the way Phanfare Photo uploads your images. There's no upload button because uploads performed automatically in the background. A little improved performance there goes a long way.
There are some exciting slide show options, too, like including video clips that play over the background music you select.
