PhotoPlus Expo registrations open

With summer fast rushing by, digital camera manufacturers will already be finalising their plans for this year's winter holiday shopping season.
Every second September, Koelnmesse holds its enormous Photokina tradeshow in Germany, which fits in nicely as a time to announce your new products before the frantic shopping begins - and this being a Photokina year, we're expecting quite a few annoucements come September. For those who can't spare the time (or money!) to travel all the way from the US to Germany for a week to see all the latest equipment though, we've got a photo tradeshow of our own coming not long afterwards...
The PhotoPlus Expo 2006 is slated for November 2nd through 4th in New York's Jacob Javits convention center, and for many of us stateside it'll be our first chance to see the Photokina products in person. Early registration is already under way, along with hotel and travel booking. 188 exhibitors are already signed up including big names such as Canon, Fujifilm, Kodak, Hewlett Packard, Leica, Nikon and Pentax, with doubtless more to come. If you're planning your calendar a few months in advance, you might want to save the dates now...
