Company Increases Write Speed to 133x; Adds New 8-GB Card for Higher Capacity Needs

Kingston’s Ultimate line of Compact Flash cards is targeted for professional and advanced amateur photographers. The Ontrack® EasyRecovery™ Professional software provides data recovery capabilities for lost digital photos. In addition, Kingston will increase the sustained write speed on its 2/4-GB CompactFlash Ultimate cards from 100x to 133x and will add a new 8-GB capacity card with a write speed of 133x to the line.

EasyRecovery Professional version 6.1, the latest data recovery software from Ontrack, is designed to retrieve photos that have been corrupted or accidentally deleted. The write speed of a Compact Flash card, along with the speed of the camera itself, determines how quickly photos can be stored on the Compact Flash card. Kingston’s 2/4/8-GB CompactFlash Ultimate cards (rated 133x) can efficiently write images to the card as they are continuously captured by the camera, allowing a seamless flow of imaging information from camera to memory card and maximizing the overall speed and functionality of the digital camera system.
