We just put the finishing touches on the Canon Rebel XTi Hands-on Preview and posted it beneath all the announcement-day information.
Even though it's very similar to the existing 8 megapixel Rebel XT, the 10 megapixel Rebel XTi has a lot going for it, making it a worthy upgrade. Because of the new AF sensor, borrowed from the EOS 30D, the Rebel XTi now focuses faster and more reliably, especially in low light, than the Rebel XT. I also found the Rebel XTi more comfortable to use for a number of reasons, both physically and functionally, and it looks more professional. It'll make a great first digital SLR for those wishing to take their photography to another level, and might find a place in the camera bag of existing Canon digital SLR owners.
