The first official sample images from Pentax's upcoming K10D digital SLR have now been released in Japan and Europe.
The images are all shot with a camera using firmware v1.00. Pentax Japan has four images, all containing EXIF information. Three of the pictures were shot at ISO 100 while the fourth is at ISO 200.
Pentax UK has the same four images, plus a further six which were shot at ISO 100. The additional images can be found here (but take note that the page will take quite some time to load, since one of the images has accidentally been placed into the page inline at its full resolution, rather than as a thumbnail!)
One further note: While most of Pentax UK's images contain EXIF information, the three portrait images which have been rotated don't. It also appears that the change to portrait format was not done using lossless rotation. Luckily two of these three are also found on the Japanese site, so we'd recommend referring to the Japanese site first.
