Today's two lenses from Sigma are both excellent, but the 150mm f/2.8 macro is really exceptional. If you're a macro shooter, you really owe it to yourself to check this one out!
We're starting to get dug out after the pre-Thanksgiving rush on Imaging Resource, as well as the miscellaneous time off for that holiday here in the US. I'm about to disappear for a week now, but lens tech Jim will be continuing to test in my absence. Lenses currently in the pipe include a Tamron 28-300mm super-zoom, and 50mm primes from both Sigma and Nikon. Here's what's new:
The other big development here though, is that we've signed on with B&H Photo as one of their affiliates. This means that any products you order from them after going to their site through one of our links (here's one to use) will earn us a small commission. This could definitely help with the expenses of running this site, and B&H is an excellent outfit to deal with: They won't always have the rock-bottom lowest price out there, but they always represent a good deal, and are among the very best in the industry when it comes to customer service. (I've been routinely using B&H for my own camera and lens purchases for years now, and a lot of the equipment in our test lab came from them. - So I can recommend them on the basis of years of positive experience with them. Oh: And note that we get credited for any product you buy after passing through one of our links, not just the product you happened to land on. So, if you'd really like to help us out, just click on one of our links before buying anything from them, and it'll toss another few nickels in the cookie jar.
