PRESS RELEASE: Wal-Mart Premieres Personal Photo DVD Movies

Announcing: myMovieMaker by aVinci Experience

BENTONVILLE, Ark., Aug. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. (NYSE: WMT) and Sequoia Media Group today announce the launch of myMovieMaker, a new product now available at all Wal-Mart stores that instantly transforms consumer digital photos into personalized DVD movies.

For the first time, consumers can create professional personalized DVD movies right in the store using a photo center touch screen kiosk. Powered by the "aVinci Experience," developed by Sequoia Media Group, LC, the product line utilizes Hollywood-style effects and themed storyboards to build a professional movie production. Over 50 movie themes are available for significant life events such as weddings, vacations, graduations, life tributes, holidays, sports and many others. myMovieMaker's themes put personal photos into context, releasing the emotions that make the event memorable.

aVinci's unique technology establishes a new standard for personal media productions. Consumers no longer have to settle for typical slideshows with ordinary transitions. myMovieMaker provides an innovative way for the public to preserve and treasure life's valued memories, yet it requires no complicated software, skills or training. The process of creating professional personal movies can now be accomplished in just a few minutes. The steps are simple: choose a theme, add photos, and select a music soundtrack. The solution then automatically creates the DVD movie with personalized case cover, DVD label, and thumbnail insert.

"Wal-Mart is committed to offering its customers affordable products and cutting-edge technology," states Joe Lisuzzo, director of Wal-Mart Photo Services and Marketing. "We are pleased to be the first retailer to offer such a powerful, affordable, and easy solution for customers to share life's events in a truly creative way."

myMovieMaker DVD productions start at $12.86 and can contain up to 40 personal photos. Beginning today, myMovieMaker will be available in all 3,500+ Wal-Mart Stores on over 5,600 photo kiosks located in the one-hour labs. For more information, visit http://www.sequoiamg.com/mymoviemaker .
