PRESS RELEASE: Mustek Expands Digital Photo Frame Line with High-Resolution 8-inch PF-D852AM
High-Quality Frame Features 800x600 Resolution, Built-in 128-MB Memory, Plus Clock/Calendar
IRVINE, Calif., Oct. 10 -- Traditional photo frames are fast going the way of old-fashioned film cameras. In fact, worldwide shipments of digital photo frames are expected to surge from two million last year to upwards of ten million by 2010, as consumers embrace this dynamic new way to display hundreds of photographs on a single frame.
Ideally fulfilling growing consumer demand is the Mustek PF-D852AM, a full-featured 8-inch digital photo frame that supports all major memory cards (SD/MMC/CF/Memory Stick/XD). It is expected to ship in November with an MSRP of $179.99 (U.S.).

The PF-D852AM's feature set is highlighted by an 800x600 native resolution TFT-LCD panel (4:3) that can be set vertically or horizontally. Overall photo display is excellent, boasting vibrant colors, sharp detail and impressive image depth. In addition, there is 128-MB of internal memory to store a core set of photos, two 1W speakers for listening to MP3 music and a clock and calendar function.
Videos can also be played, thanks to the PF-D852AM's support for Xvid and M-JPEG video formats.
The PF-D852AM package comes with a power adapter, AV cable, USB cable, remote control and a Getting Started guide.
