Canon: New rebates on DSLRs, lenses, strobes

Canon USA yesterday kicked off a new rebate campaign for a significant number of its photography products.
The rebates are valid on purchased made between May 18th and July 19th 2008, and range in value from $15 to $300. Two camera bodies are included - the EOS 5D with that highest rebate of $300, and the EOS 40D with a $200 rebate. No less than thirteen lenses (seven of them L models, as listed at the end of this article) are also included in the rebate scheme. All but one of the L lenses qualify for rebates of $100 or above. Finally, the Speedlite 430EX and 580EX II flash strobes qualify for rebates of $15 and $30 respectively.
