A faster and media browser with support for iPhoto events plus a Web Export fix for Yahoo Maps highlight the new version.
John Fox has released version 1.86 of MemoryMiner, his $45 cross-platform digital story telling application.
According to the release notes, highlights of the new release include:
• New Version of iMedia framework: A brand new version of the excellent iMedia framework for visually browsing the contents of your photos, videos, music and web bookmarks. Among many other speed and reliability enhancements, this version adds support for iPhoto events. For more information on the iMedia framework, visit http://www.karelia.com/imedia
• Web Export fix for Yahoo Maps: This version fixes a problem where the Yahoo Maps portion wasn't loading. MemoryMiner now uses a newer version of Yahoo Maps API which is "pure" HTML (as opposed to using Flash) and as a consequence, loads faster.
The update can be installed by launching the application itself or by dowloading it from the download page.
