M1 Diary: The Conclusion! By

No way was our M1 diary going to make it onto our New Years Resolution list.
With Microtek's departure from the North American market (taking the M1 with it), our final thoughts on the M1 may seem a little too final. But thanks to the extended loan the company provided, we've been able to do a lot more than kick the tires on this unique film flatbed scanner.
In preparation for this segment of the diary, we reviewed all the forum entries related to the M1 as well and have tried to address the more significant issues raised. In one case that required rescanning a slide (but it was a 1955 Maserati so we can't complain!).
This installment primarily covers color negative scans and black & white scans as well as reflective copy (we'll save you the suspense: no problem).
For the rest of the story, see the latest installment of the M1 Diary.
