Though it looks quite similar to the K10D, the Pentax K20D offers enough improvements that longtime fans should take notice.
A robust body, Shake Reduction, dust reduction, and the unique Sensitivity Priority as well as Shutter & Aperture Priority modes are retained, and new features like more resolution, larger LCD, higher ISOs, Live View, Expanded D-Range mode, AF Fine-tuning and Burst shooting -- capable of grabbing 22 1.6-megapixel images per second -- really round out the Pentax K20D's capabilities.
Most important, however, is the K20D's image quality, which is good enough for very large prints with very little noise thanks to the 14.6-megapixel CMOS image sensor. Overall we were pleasantly surprised by the Pentax K20D and think it's a solid performer that also offers good value for the money.
